Which species should I choose?
- Economy logs – Faster-burning, best suited to very occasional or short fires.
- Birch – Lights easily, burns longer than economy logs, and produces bright, lively flames. A great match for modern stoves and first-time log burners.
- Ash – Longer-burning hardwood that gives steady heat for more regular use. Increasing scarcity means availability is limited and its price carries a premium.
- Oak - Best Value – Our longest-burning option and ideal for everyday or extended use. Our recommended alternative when ash is unavailable.
